Each of our homes - The George McDonald House, The Barbara Dorothy House, The OYAMA M. House, and The Robert C. Our Foster Care Programs & Services are designed to provide comprehensive support for children and youth in need. Our Independent Living program equips young adults aging out of foster care with essential life skills and resources, ensuring they have a solid foundation for a successful future. To maintain the utmost safety within our foster care network, we employ stringent measures such as FBI Background Checks and CAN Assessments on all potential foster parents. Additionally, Fingerprinting BCI techniques are utilized to enhance the security of individuals involved in the foster care system, affirming our commitment to creating a secure and nurturing environment for those we serve.

CAN Assessments 

The foster care programs CAN Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation process that identifies the strengths, needs, and resources of children within foster care systems, ensuring appropriate support and services are provided.

The background checks program serves as a crucial security measure, screening individuals for any potential risks and ensuring a safe environment in various professional, educational, and social settings.

Fingerprinting BCI

Fingerprinting-based BCI (Biometric Criminal Information) is an essential tool for conducting comprehensive background checks, ensuring security and accurate identification of individuals.
