Irvin McDonald

Irvin A McDonald is an accomplished Executive Director with a Masters Degree in Social Work. Born and raised in the Dayton Ohio area. Irvin McDonald is the proud father of eight boys and Pawpaw to one granddaughter and one grandson.


With a passion for improving the lives of individuals and communities, Irvin has dedicated his career to social justice and advocacy. Throughout his professional journey, Irvin has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in managing various social service programs. He possesses a unique ability to develop and implement innovative strategies that address the complex needs of diverse populations.


Irvin's commitment to fostering collaborative partnerships and building strong teams has earned him recognition in the field. He excels at creating supportive environments that empower individuals and facilitate positive change. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Irvin is known for his excellent interpersonal and communication skills. His empathetic and compassionate approach creates a safe space for individuals to share their experiences and seek guidance.


Irvin's dedication to ongoing professional development keeps him at the forefront of social work practice. He continuously seeks out new opportunities to enhance his skills and expand his knowledge. Founder and Executive Director of Marie’s House of Hope, Inc. Irvin’s commitment to helping others  and his ability to think outside the box have resulted in numerous successful projects throughout his career.

 

He has a knack for identifying the needs of others to create solutions that meet the ever evolving needs of the individuals receiving service. In 2012, Irvin embarked on his professional business journey with the founding of Marie’s House of Hope Inc., which offers a variety of services such as Group Homes, Mental Health, Foster Care as well as Independent Living. His proven track record, leadership abilities, and commitment to social justice make him an invaluable asset to the community he serves.
